Khun Vilasinee Thephasadin Na Ayuthaya is Managing Partner at the Mahanakorn Partners Group and is one of the original founders of Vimami Consulting, the business consulting firm that laid the foundations for, and is now a member company of, MPG. Khun Vilasinee has led Vimami since 1999, and the business consulting firm has subsequently grown to offer professional services in financial and tax planning, investments, accounting, and legal services. She oversaw the company’s rapid expansion in its first two decades, which led to the opening of new strategic business units and branches, and finally, a major restructure and reorganisation in 2016, when Vimami reformed and rebranded as MPG, now a leading international professional services firm boasting five business divisions. Khun Vilasinee is well respected for her competence and expertise, as well as her warm and engaging personality. This formidable combination has earned the loyalty of her staff, clients, and even her adversaries, many of whom have been with her from the beginning. Throughout her career, she has been commended by numerous embassies in Thailand, for her ability to deliver outstanding results. Among her most notable works is being one of the models for David Beckham’s “Respect” fragrances campaign, which was launched in numerous countries.
Her life story has inspired and encouraged many people her age. Pili always believes in her own abilities and that nothing is impossible if she sets her mind to it. She describes how each golden opportunity is really just another new exciting chapter in life. She feels lucky and grateful for each of these opportunities. However, what is even more meaningful to Pili is how these life stories can inspire others to be the best they can be. Pili is always asking herself “What can this do for society? How does it feel in my heart and soul?” It was then that Pili decided to be part of her society by helping those that had always supported and believed in her. Today, her life story has inspired countless others of all ages. Nothing is impossible if you set your mind to it. She feels lucky to turn the page for each new chapter! He leads the Banking & Finance division at MPG, which provides trade finance, corporate finance and project finance advice, as well as legal advice for cross-border financing. Over the past two decades, Luca Bernardinetti has led his team in structuring equity and debt financing for infrastructure and Public-Private Partnership projects, working alongside highly rated banks and insurance providers. Under his expertise and leadership, MPG has successfully undertaken several complex financing transactions, assisting private multinationals, state-owned enterprises and government agencies to secure multi-billion dollar lines of credit for infrastructure development projects. Luca Bernardinetti is Advisor of the Public Debt Management Office of the Ministry of Finance of Thailand and Member of Thailand International Chamber of Commerce’s Commission on Banking Technique & Practices. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Thai-Italian Chamber of Commerce and serves as Chairman of the Business Economics Committee of the American Chamber of Commerce in Thailand (AmCham). Luca Bernardinetti is in high demand as a guest lecturer and speaker at top ASEAN universities, such as Chulalongkorn University and National University of Singapore. He has enjoyed speaking at many international forums and events, including those organized by the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UN ESCAP). He is a consummate media commentator, having given interviews to prominent global news outlets, such as BBC World Business Report, CNN and The New York Times, on matters of business, economics and finance, on numerous occasions.
